There will be a ski team hike on Monday Sept. 1 for all those interested. We will meet at 8:30 am at the Silver Creek community park. Here are the directions:

The park is located 15 km south of Salmon Arm on the Salmon River Road.(3.5 km past the Silver Creek store.  The park is on the left hand side of the road and if you get to the Silver Creek fire hall you have just passed it.

We will drive another 6 km up a logging road.There are a couple rough steep sections but is is driveable with 2 wd.

It only takes 30 min. of hiking to get to a good look out. The last half of the hike is steep. I will be taking ski walking poles. For those who don't want to go all the way a route will be flagged back to the vehicles so you can turn back when you like. I expect the hike to the peak and back to take 4 to 5 hours.
